Damien Leone is an American director, writer and producer currently residing in New York, United States. He is known for writing and directing the films All Hallows’ Eve (2013), Terrifier (2016), and Terrifier 2 (2022), each of which features the terrifying character Art the Clown . Terrifier premiered at the Telluride Horror Show Film Festival in October 2016, before being purchased by Dread Central Presents and Epic Pictures for a limited theatrical release in March 2018. The film received mixed reviews, with praise directed at the special effects. and Thornton’s performance as Art. the clown, while the writing came under criticism. A sequel, Terrifier 2, was released on October 6, 2022.
