FIRST HOME

My first purchase was a single-fronted Victorian in Ascot Vale in 2000. I was 22 and bought it just before the 2000 AFL Grand Final, which we won, so it was a really good week. I purchased it at auction and a good friend who was actually a real estate agent bid for me – now he is coaching me in my real estate career. It was close to the Maribyrnong River and had a spa, which was good for recovery. And it was an entertainer’s home (with space for) off-season drinks.

CURRENT HOME

I’ve been living in North Fitzroy and it was all about the location and proximity to the city. My life outside work is about food and hospitality, so being walking distance to parklands and the best cafes and restaurants has been great.

DREAM HOME

A property we have on the market right now is my dream home. It’s 140 The Boulevard, Aberfeldie (listed with a $8.2m-$8.8m price guide). I’d love the … garage, pool and amazing views of the river. I do like that modern style of homes, too. It’s got its own gym and I go to the gym pretty much every morning. It’s got a great bar and entertaining area. In my previous work I was a chef, so it’s got to have the best kitchen appliances and this has all the bells and whistles.
